Its been a while since we’ve blogged, but we have had some exciting projects under way at Helay HQ. So inshaAllah keep us in your duas, and of course all will be revealed in due course!
Being in the hub of it all we thought we would give you guys our best picks from LFW! Certain members of the Helay team pointed out that a lot of the designs were actually very hijab-friendly and we could all take inspiration from!
So you all know summer is just round the corner and this year there’s lots of lovely lace, pastels and floral designs flying around the high street.
We have some lovely new scarves in the new collection that will showcase some of the trends of the season! In particular we are excited to release our lace-hijab. So watch out for this space!
Ever since the Royal wedding, we seem to have noticed and appreciated lace much more than we had done previously! Brides have definitely taken inspiration from Kate’s elegant wedding dress. The lace also seems to be appearing in summer dresses. It gives that look of sweet vintage charm.As shown in the above Alexander Mcqueen designs.
Blouses have been a wardrobe staple for a while now and are great for hijabis, as they’re loose and come in decent lengths. Blouses can be worn for the office or even casual occasions out with friends, its all about what you team it up with!
Personally I have to admit i’ve only bought my first maxi last month! I always felt i would look as if i was drowning in it! However I think maxis are for all sizes and a plus for the shorter woman (so i’ve been told!) teamed with a pair of wedges and boom you’re ready for the summer! There were a range of elegant maxi dresses on the LFW catwalk. From pastels to eye popping colours.
If you’re in a country where the weather tends to be unpredictable with a dazzle of showers, spells of high winds and a tiny pinch of sunshine, (yep we’re in the UK) Then its a must that you own a mac! not too thick but enough coverage for the rain! Burberry is well known for their gorgeous designs and this one is no different.
To finish it all off some bursts of perhaps unique statement fashion fun!
